“ Called in for breakfast on the way to the Ravenglass railway. We had found it via reviews on Google and both the food and service never disappointed. A really friendly place, superb staff and the breakfast absolutely gorgeous...them sausages are delicious!! If you want a good full English breakfast , then definitely visit and very reasonable prices aswell, the breakfast in my picture was 8 plus 2 for a large pot of tea. You can request from fresh toms or Tinned. Thanks very much, I’m now full !! Haha ”

“ Had to go to Whitehaven for a hospital visit and this was pretty much the first cafe we found. How lucky we were - we could easily have gone in to a greasy spoon and regretted it. But instead, we had lunch in what is probably the best cafe in Whitehaven! We both had meat pie, peas and gravy with a side of fresh, homemade chips. Absolutely delicious!! Proper Cumbrian portion (read - big!) - pie packed full of gorgeous mince and potatoes drowned in a lovely gravy. So good, I’m sure we’ll day trip again just for lunch! Staff really friendly and not a rip-off pricing. ”
